NOTES
"Paul and I were at a Blackhawks game in Chicago. He and Al had
just finished a new Ministry record and he needed a break. He
also realized that he had to call Tom Baker in L.A. to see how
the mastering was going--this is way before cell phones, by the
way. So mid-period or between periods, we run out to the pay
phones at the stadium (I still call it the stadium) and he
calls Tom Baker.
Tom gets on the phone and says he has this one song which they
forgot to give a title to or something. So Paul hands the phone
to me and tells me to listen to the track and what does it
sound like.
I said, "It sounds like grace."
And that is how THAT particular song got its name--thanks to
hockey pucks flying or simply being in the right place at the
right time."
