Installing
Please read the documentation (the HTML and text versions are included with the latest Virtfs packages). Installing is simple:
- make - Compile the source code
- make install - Copy the files to their locations.
- make uninstall - Remove the files from where they were installed.
- make clean - Clean up all the compiled and temporary files.
You will have to run virt_template.pl to create your template directory which all your virtual servers will hard link to. The configuration file for the Perl script will be /etc/virt_template.conf.
Please edit /etc/virt.conf after installation. It is well documented.
If upgrading from an older version of virtfs, after installation, simply type virtfs -detect.
