After a bit of a break, a new song is up for download on the sound page. This time it's a live version of TV Mind from the Revco New Year's Eve show on 12/31/90. The Ministry crew used to play a Chicago gig on New Year's Eve (or at least did so many years in the late 80's/early 90's). Since they weren't on tour, the shows were often a bit more lively. At this specific show, there's quite a bit of improv (fueled, no doubt, by a bit of pre-New Year's indulgences), making it tough sometimes to tell if it's Revco or Pigface. Thanks to board member Dummkopf for hooking me up with this show and many other goodies!
Also back up for download is a live version of Over The Shoulder from the 4/10/86 Toronto show. For those who missed the recent torrent with lossless versions, this is a big upgrade in quality from the original version that was up for download years ago.
For those interested, Paul Barker's new band U.S.S.A. will be making a live appearance at The End in Nashville on June 7th. This will be their 2nd live performance.
Wounded Bird Records will be reissuing The Land of Rape and Honey on May 30 2007. They have some information about this release over at their site.
Wounded Bird Records seems to specialize in reissue of albums from the 60's, 70's and early 80's on compact disc.
According to a new article at The Gauntlet, the new album should hopefully be be finised in June. There are several quotes from Al and some new information including several track names (The Last Sucker, The End Of Days Parts 1 and 2). Thanks to Alexandre for the heads up!
