The new song up for download on the sound page is a live version of Paisley from the Bridge School Benefit concert on 10/1/94. They performed the same set two nights in a row that year, this being the first. There are recordings of both shows - this show being the better quality. There are a couple interesting things about this recording. First, Al introduces it as being from the upcoming Ministry album, while the album wouldn't be out fo over another year and the song wouldn't even be on it when it did. Second, the band is obviously unrehearsed, and Al really stubles on the lyrics a couple times. Still, it's a nice accoustic performance and one of only two times this song was done live.
New song on the sound page. This time it's a version of Kyber Pass from the 2006 Niagra Falls show. I left the last couple minutes of keyboard loops intact for you completists out there.
The new song is up on the sound page. This time it's a version of The Land Of Rape And Honey from the Boston 1990 show. The song was was originally performed live on the 1988 tour, where a version pretty close to the album version was performed at pretty much all shows. It was brought out again for the 1990 "Uncle Al & The Party Machine" tour where it was frequently done as the last song of the encore. Of course, the placement later in the setlist and the large number of performers led to more interesting performances, this ne being no exception. As usual, Al does some of the vocals for this track, but lead vocals for most of the song are done by none other than Ogre from Skinny Puppy.
Now up for download on the sound page is a live version of my favorite songs from the Houses album. This version of World comes from the 10/25/04 Washington DC show. Enjoy.
New song is up on the sound page. This time it's a live version of Lava from the Portland 99 show. It's a pretty decent rendition of the song from the Dark Side tour, but comes to an abrupt end as a crazed audience member gets on stage and smashes into the band's gear. I left most of the band's banter after the incident for your amusement. Enjoy.
