Up for download on the sound page is a very rare recording of Lard's Time To Melt. This is from the San Francisco 10/31/88 show and features Jello Biafra on vocals. They've done this song live a couple times, but this is the only know recording of it. Unfortunately it's not complete. It cuts suddenly after 15 minutes or so, but it's still definitely well worth the listen. Enjoy!

On the sound page is the second Carmichaels demo. Many thanks to Ben Krug, the singer, for hooking me up with better sounding versions of these demos and so much more info on them. For the record, the first demo we featured here was called Knowledge and had Al playing keyboards. The title for the new one has been lost to the ages, but it does feature Al on bass. Also check out The Interview Page for Ben's answers to some of my questions. Also, look for the third (yes, there is a third) Carmichaels demo track to be postedin the next few weeks.

The new song on the sound page is a live version of Just One Fix from the Toronto 92 show. As with Bad Blood, this song has been done on just about every tour since then, but sounded much much more powerful when it was fresh. In addition, during the 92/93 tour, the band usually played the 12" version of Just One Fix. This marks one of the more uncommon performances of the album version.

And many thanks to Jason G for hooking me up with this show.

New song for the week is Bad Blood live from the 1999 Clitour. They've broken this one out a few times since then, but it seemed to have a little something extra on the first tour it was played live. Get it on the sound page.
