Next up on the sound page is an early live version of Hizbollah performed live in 1984 at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, IL. Unlike the intro bit from the 12/20/84 show, this is the complete song. A little rough on the quality, but still a great listen. Thanks to Dan for hooking me up with a great show from the forgotten period of the band.
It seems many people are having issues downloading songs from this site. However, the file downloads work for me, and therefore, I cannot diagnose the problem. If you are having this problem, please try downloading the file, and email us the time/date you tried, and if you can, your IP address.
Thank you for your patience.
Paul Barker's new project, still unnamed, is near completion with an album full of tracks. It's surprisingly heavy.
Due to the heightened security risk as a result of the death of Dimebag Darrell last evening in Columbus, OH, the promoter has decided to cancel the Ministry show in Detroit, at the State Theatre, on December 10 2004.
The Louisville, KY show scheduled for tonight, is not cancelled, but will be the last US EViL DoER Tour Date.
Ministry will be playing at Foro Sol in Mexico City on December 12th 2004. Some of the other bands at the festival include Korn, Deftones and Sparta.
That will be the last date on the Evil Doer 2004 Tour. There are currently no plans to continue touring at the beginning of 2005, but this may soon change. For a complete list of the Evil Doer Tour Dates, visit the tour page.
After a brief excercise in democracy, the new song is up for download on the sound page. The highest vote-getter was Thrill Kill Kult, an unreleased song from 1986. It was written by Frankie Nardiello (aka Groovey Mann from Thrill Kill Kult; the band). It was performed live on the Twitch tour, and the music was later resurrected for the Lead Into Gold song Hatred. Incidently, since both Hatred and The Idiot were credited to Barker/Jourgensen/Rieflin/Barker (the Twitch live lineup) on the Chicks & Speed EP, I am lead to believe that there may be an Ministry song from the same period that uses The Idiot as well.
