Outlined in this document are the steps needed to make your Sony laptop (either the Sony Vaio GR370 and GR390) function properly under Linux. This document was written with no particular Linux distribution in mind, and should work under all types.
It is recommended that you custom build the kernel. If you do not want to, you may not have to, though it is recommended to get the most out of Linux on your laptop.
